About Us
The Alumni Association of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro was resuscitated through the yearnings of some eminent personalities within Lagos and Ilaro chapters. The role played by the Lagos chapter of the Muslim Alumni cannot be over emphasized. Several meetings were held in Lagos between Ilaro and Lagos chapters under the leadership of Imam Umar Baahir Femi and Alhaji Kemi Lawal. The meeting gave birth to a steering committee under the leadership of Mr. Sanni Oladimeji. The steering committee later gave rise to a central working committee and before the formation of the electoral committee which gave birth to a standing Executive Committee on the 17th day of December, 2016. The association which is now registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission has the following functioning chapters:
- Ilaro
- Lagos
- United Kingdom
- Abuja and
- Abeokuta.
